With the advent of the more recent self-help movement, self-affirmations have become a tool to combat the negative voices in our heads that underscore our worst beliefs about ourselves.
Bite-sized positivity quotes have the purpose of helping an individual feel like they have strength, confidence, capability, and many other fulfilling attributes. While there can be a benefit in taking action, even if it’s as small as a scribble on a post-it stuck to your bathroom mirror, to truly integrate new beliefs about yourself into your overall self-image, you must reinforce these beliefs by meeting your goals.
Accomplishing small goals helps affirm positive beliefs
Big goals and large aspirations throw us their glistening smiles from a great distance, but the truth is that we can’t accomplish huge goals every day. Our time and energy are limited resources.
