“I loved that black futon! It was one of my first adult purchases!”

“It was also your idea to get the kitten.”

“We have to cut her nails.”

“Every time we try, you get scared we’re going to hurt her and procrastinate.”

“Oh my god. Look at all of these scratch marks on the beautiful black leather.”

“I told you it was going to either be getting the cats or having nice things.”

“Let’s give her back!”

“Okay.”

“Don’t call my bluff. Bring her here, I want to hold her.”

“You’re going to let our kids get away with everything, aren’t you?”

“Whatever do you mean?”
