Starvation

A Poem

an amygdala
1 min readJul 26, 2019

as her body shrinks
her void grows

dizziness

such starvation

serves as a welcome
distraction from
the incessant voice
measuring her
self-esteem

am I worthy yet?

she asks the mirror.
