There's very good advice in here. I've followed this financial advice of negotiating no matter what, and I can attest that it makes a huge difference. Yes, it can be scary but we have to do it anyway or things aren't going to change.

This recruiter's choice perpetuated sexist pay inequality. She could have chosen to support a woman so easily in this case, but she couldn't be bothered. Great read.
