Where are you getting the stats to back this claim: “Most of the wage gap is due to women working jobs that pay less, working less hours than their male counterparts (by their choice), or not working at all in favor of staying home with their children. Most of the wage gap is not due to corporations paying women who do the same job as men 25–50% less. I think you’re barking up the wrong tree with this.”
Who decided how much compensation should be distributed for each type of job? Have you ever taken the time to research this? Before you assert that someone who has likely done way more research than you is “barking up the wrong tree,” why don’t you provide data?
