Your post reminded me of the Annie Dillard quote “How we spend our days is, of course, how we spend our lives.” Great read. Lately, I’ve been thinking about the topics you discuss here. I hear you on the advice to build your life around the things you want to do. That’s a solid point, and it absolutely does give your life more direction (as you also say here).
